Did you watch the baseball game or the debate last night?
Neither. I listened to the debate on the radio and rooted heartily for the Dodgers.

What are the 10 foods you must have in your refrigerator and/or your kitchen cabinet?
Submitted by Carol.
The last time I had that much food in my kitchen was when my parents came here for Shabbos. Usually I just have a $2 loaf of hamotze bread, cashew butter, and jelly. Sometimes I buy breakfast cereal to add some variety, as well as soluble fiber and other essential vitamins and minerals. If I'm feeling rich, I'll blow ten bucks on a frozen pizza (whole wheat). Pizza can really only be washed down with two beverages, beer or soda. Beer I don't buy because drinking alone is too depressing for even me. I buy soda on rare occasions, because it's kind of expensive and it's not real good for you. Also, they say it's really bad for your teeth, and I'm not exactly the king of dental hygiene... Mostly, I just drink tap water. When it occurs to me, I buy the calcium orange juice. I had a stash of tuna fish (from my Mom) and sardines (from the Fastows) that lasted me several months because I kept forgetting it was there.
How old were you when you had your very first boyfriend/girlfriend? Do you still know them now?
Submitted by KIM.
I was probably 10 years old during my first boyfriend/girlfriend situation. We held hands. It was hot. Haven't seen or thought about that girl in years. Um, fastforwarding a little bit... My first real relationship was in college, just as I was turning 21. We reconnected about a year ago, and we've become pretty good friends. For reasons unknown to either of us, she got a job in my hometown and now lives about 2 miles from my parents.
What celebrity do you most often get told you resemble?
Submitted by Leets.
Mostly, people used to compare me with other bespectacled Jews, like Woody Allen and Jeff Goldblum. When Rushmore was still in recent memory, Jason Schwartzman was also pretty common. My personal favorite is when my friend Sal's dad blurted out "You look like Elvis Costello!" before I had a chance to introduce myself.
Since I grew my beard, these comparisons happen a lot less. The most recent one I remember is last October, when my friend Shmuelly told me I look like R' Osdoba.
Who would you call with your one phone call if arrested? (No lawyers!)
